The One with Snow

There are certain moments of pure joy in life when you forget everything. You revel in those moments like nothing else matters. One such moment came last week when it snowed in Norwich and I witnessed shower of snow for the first time in my life. I was told that it hadn't been snowing in Norwich for past two years and I had given up hope of seeing snow while studying here.

It was a regular Friday morning before the beginning of the next semester at University of East Anglia. I walked down the stairs talking to my best friend on the phone. I looked out of the window, lo and behold, it was snowing. Heavily snowing. I don't remember what happened in those seconds but I was out of my door, phone in hand, looking at one of the best views of my life. Sheer ecstasy.

I was happy beyond measures and for the next few minutes I was dancing with joy like a kid. I took pictures and videos and shared it with everyone who matters. I also discovered who matters in those moments when life surprises you & extreme sense of joy that washes every other thought.

Coming from India, I could have seen this view if I went to Himalayas but unfortunately I never could. But I always believed that someday I will. Little did I know it will be some 4000 miles away.

I thanked God for letting it snow, for bringing that moment in my life and for having people to share it with. If you haven't seen Nature's magic of snow shower then you must hope for it and if you have, you know what it means.
